This distinctive text was developed to stand apart from all other A&P texts with unparalleled art, a writing style that has been acclaimed by both users and reviewers and clinical coverage that offers the perfect balance without being too much. anatomy and physiology book September 20, 2008 The book was listed as new but it was highlighted in. Also, the seller used the wrong envelope and so I had to pay $7 more dollars for postage due at the post office. Other than that it was fine.
book not received, but quick refund September 11, 2008 I didn't receive the book, but upon writing the seller found out his source had closed up shop and he issued my refund the next business day. He was very polite and apologetic.
Excellent Anatomy & Physiology book!! August 13, 2008 Saladin has done an amazing job with this text, the pictures alone are worth the money and provide a solid foundation to learning the detailed concepts of physiology. I highly recommend this text over any others, you actually want to read it instead of viewing it as an encyclopedia. I got an A for my A&P I and II classes and this book helped a lot. Also they provide a free website full of interactive diagrams, pictures, videos, quizes, and tests that are excellent practice. Highly recommend to students taking college A&P.
  O.K. May 15, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I thought the graphics in this book are AMAZING, but the text is not that great.... There are a lot of terms in bold that are not explained. The index is not very helpful in finding the terms; even basic terms that should be directed to a page(s) number. Overall, I gave this book a "3 star" simply because the graphics are really helpful. If it were not for the graphics, it would be a "1"
One of the best textbooks I have ever had! March 11, 2007 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I really like this textbook. There were a variety of pictures and diagrams that helped me out a lot, and it definitely clarified the information that I got in lecture!
